Hallmon
Ms. Hallmon started with the Fielding firm as an
associate attorney in March of 1999, becoming a partner in
January of 2005. While in law school, Ms. Hallmon clerked for
the Civil Division of the Tarrant County District Attorney’s
Office, the law firm of Fielding, Barrett & Taylor, L.L.P.,
the Child Support Enforcement Division of the Office of the
Attorney General, the United States Attorney’s Office for the
Western District of Texas and the 213th Judicial District Court
of Tarrant County.
Ms. Hallmon is a 1996 graduate of Baylor University and received
her Juris Doctor degree from Baylor University School of Law in
1999. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in May of 1999.
Ms. Hallmon is also admitted to practice before each of the U.S.
District Courts for the four Districts of Texas
and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Ms.
Hallmon is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been named a
"Top Attorney" in Fort Worth and Tarrant County, Texas
by Fort Worth, Texas magazine. Ms. Hallmon has been a member of the American and Tarrant County Bar
Associations since 1999, serving on the Board of Officers for
the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Tarrant County Bar
Association from 2002-2006 (as Section Chair from 2005-2006),
and the Board of Officers for the Women's Section of the Tarrant
County Bar Association since 2001 (as Section Chair from
2005-2006). She is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar
Foundation.
Ms.
Hallmon was an Associate Member of the Eldon B. Mahon American
Inn of Court in 2002-2003, served on the Tarrant County National
Adoption Day Committee from 2002-2004, was a member of the
207-2008 class of Leadership Fort Worth and has served as a
member of the Junior League of Arlington since 2009.
Ms. Hallmon concentrates her practice in the prosecution and
defense of a variety of state and federal employment law matters
including civil rights law, federal
sector employment law, wage and hour law and the law of
restrictive covenants prohibiting competition.
